This week, we’re starting with a bookmark! The season is Halloween, the scariest holiday of the year, so the bookmark I’m suggesting today is in the shape of a witch! 😉 You will need a template and very few materials to create your personal little witch. Here’s how to make it! Have a creative week!
The Witch Bookmark
Materials
- Black cardstock
- Purple tulle
- Satin ribbon
- Glue
- Decorative beads and embellishments

How to make it
1. Draw the outline of the witch on the black cardstock and then cut it out. 
2. Take a piece of tulle and fold it.
3. Place it around the witch’s waist and glue it. Add a satin ribbon and tie it with a knot at the back. Cut off the excess parts. 
Decorate the witch’s body as desired. I added stars, beads, and a moon. 
The Broomstick
Materials
2 chenille stems: 1 black and 1 with purple bumps
How to make it
1. Take the black chenille stem and fold it in half.
2. Fold the purple chenille stem in half and twist it twice. Twist it into itself.
3. Slide the black chenille stem through the loop of the purple chenille stem.
4. Finally, twist the entire black chenille stem. 
5. Insert the broomstick into one of the witch’s hands. 
Now, use your Halloween witch as a bookmark!
