snowflake glitter

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that I am testing the new Canon Legria Mini camera designed for creatives. To try it out, I shared a video showing how I wrapped a Christmas gift (you can find it here). Today, for my second project, I’ve decided to create something for children: snowflakes to add to the Carnival costume of Elsa, the Queen of Frozen.
As you know, the Legria Mini camera has special features. For this video, I filmed clips using both the automatic function for normal framing and the Fast Motion feature to show the steps of my project in a quick and fun way.

After setting up the camera on a tripod, I prepared my table with everything needed for this DIY project!

Here’s the video where I show you how to make the snowflakes.

I also tested this camera during my children’s school performances, in a large space (the community gym) with high noise levels due to the echo and the crowd that came to listen to the little ones.
For this special recording, I used the Noise Suppression function, which reduces wind and car noises, as well as the background noise of crowded environments.
The audio was recorded optimally, and the teachers’ songs and stories can be heard clearly in the video. My only mistake was not positioning the camera closer to the children to better capture their faces. That will be my goal for their end-of-year performance. 🙂
