The Halloween crafts have just begun!! Today we’ll create these fuzzy little spiders!! An activity that kids are sure to love! 😉
Required Materials:
- 1 black chenille ball (for the spider’s body)
- 4 black chenille stems (for the legs)
- 2 googly eyes
- Hot glue or craft glue
- Scissors
Instructions:
- Preparing the Legs Take the 4 black chenille stems and cut them in half to create 8 pieces of equal length. These will become the spider’s legs.
- Assembling the Body and Legs Take the chenille ball and use hot glue or craft glue to attach the 8 legs. To create a realistic look, glue 4 legs on each side of the ball. Make sure they are securely attached and evenly spaced.
- Shaping the Legs Gently bend each leg in the middle to form a slight angle, making the spider appear to be in a “crawling” position.
- Adding the Googly Eyes Glue the two googly eyes to the top of the chenille ball. Place them close together for a cute look or slightly apart for a spookier effect.
- Finishing Touch Let the glue dry completely. If you’d like, you can add a clear string to hang the spiders, making them even more versatile as decorations.
Have fun!!!
