By recycling a box and adding some paint and some colored paper, you can create lots of carnival masks!
If your children like superpowers the right accessory for Carnival is a superhero mask. In this post of mine here I show you so many variations of it, I had fun creating well-known heroes and “creative” heroes born from my imagination.
Superhero Mask
Supplies
A box of Milk 3 Humana (you can get 2 masks for each box)
foam rubber and colored paper
2 buttonholes for each mask
rubber band
hot glue or vinyl glue (your choice)
tempera/acrylic paints
scissors, paintbrush and pencil
How to make
I started by recycling a box of Humana Milk 3 powder: I opened it and inside I drew the mask.
I cut out the template and then colored it with some acrylic paint.
Once it was dry, I glued decorations on the surface, for example: spikes cut out of crepe rubber, stars cut out of glitter paper, rubber lightning bolts, and glitter lightning bolts.
Finally, I added a pair of eyelets, one on each side, and then an elastic band so that I could wear the superhero mask.
The project is really very simple and can also be done together with the children.
